Montealegre Vendors 8Ps Association

Located in one of the mountainous barangays in the Municipality of Tuburan, Cebu, Montealegre 8Ps Vendors Association is a women’s group that initially operated from pooled seed funding from the LGU under the DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Project. The business started as a mix of agri-vet supplies and general merchandise.

They joined the CTU-DOST-PCAARRD ATBI sometime in 2023 as an incubatee. With capable leadership, and solid group core, the group has proven to become one of the most successful incubatees of CTU-DOST-PCAARRD ATBI to date. In 2024, the business added the mushroom technology to its product offerings, after being capacitated by one of Cebu Province’s mushroom industry leaders. It also expanded its product line, which now includes food; and it opened additional two branches in the same year, and ended hitting a sales record of over P700K.

In January 2025, it was recognized as one of the most successful incubatees of CTU-ATBI; and is now reorganized as Montealegre 8Ps Vendors Consumer Cooperative, after officially registering with the CDA.
