To foster regional collaboration and elevate institutional knowledge practices, Cebu Technological University (CTU) held a Re-Echo Seminar on Knowledge Synergy for Enhanced Knowledge Management and Communication on June 30, 2025, at the Learning Commons, 2nd Floor, Science and Technology Building, CTU Main Campus.
The seminar was facilitated by Dr. Mario P. Rebucas and Prof. Marlou C. Godines, project staff who participated in the Phase 1 of the Regional Knowledge Synergy: Enhancing Knowledge Management and Communication in Central Visayas held on March 25–29, 2025, at Cebu Institute of Technology – University (CIT-U), Cebu City.
The objective of the seminar was to disseminate key insights and practical strategies on enhancing Knowledge Management (KM) and communication processes, particularly through the development of technology communication plans. These tools are envisioned to improve the way CTU manages, shares, and communicates innovations and knowledge outputs across its campuses and partners.
Attending the seminar were members of the CTU-RAISE Project Team, composed of personnel from both the Regional Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubation (RATBI) and the Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) teams. Their participation underscores the university’s commitment to developing a collaborative, knowledge-driven ecosystem that supports research, extension, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the Central Visayas region.
Through the re-echoing of learnings and best practices, this initiative serves to:
– Promote a culture of strategic communication and knowledge sharing
– Enhance inter-unit collaboration within CTU
– Align CTU’s KM practices with regional innovation and development goals
As CTU continues to champion knowledge synergy, the university remains steadfast in its mission to build stronger linkages, improve institutional systems, and empower its people for greater impact.
